PHILOSOPHY OF 180 S CURRICULLUM

This curriculum is upgraded and finalized by the programme wise board of studies according to the requirements of the industry. The document is based on the feedback from industry/field organizations. It considers employment opportunities for diploma holders from three sectors: primary, secondary and territory sectors of employment.

While preparing this document, following points are taken into consideration:

1. Development and requirements of the employer.
2. Competency profile of the diploma holders with a view to meet the changing needs of technological developments and requirements of the employer.
3. Vertical mobility of the students for their professional growth.
4. A rational approach for all the curricula of Diploma Programmes in Engineering in Government Polytechnic, Pune.
