Examination Cell

Government Polytechnic, Pune was granted Academic Autonomy by Government of Maharashtra in 1994, vide letter No. WBP-1093/ [2640] [69] /TASI-5, dated 31/05/1994. The Examination Section was established in 1994.Controller of Examination will work as coordinator and executive of the cell along with the required number of supporting staff. This Cell maintains students records regarding examination. Examination Cell will conduct examinations, declare results & perform all other relevant functions regarding examinations.

The Various activities of the cell are -

1) Setting up term end examination question papers.
2) Preparation of a panel of examiners for paper setting, practical and oral examinations.
3) Examination registration of student for different program and courses
4) Preparing schedule for theory examinations
5) Conduction of theory examinations
6) Deciding policies regarding registration/examination.
7) Conducting exam committee meeting and incorporate change suggested by them for effective evaluation system
8) Maintaining complete examination record of student from entry to exit from system
9) Result processing
10) Result declaration
